I just want to be myselfI just want to be myself
Apparently there's something wrong with that
I just wanna speak my mind
But there's something wrong with that to
What's so wrong with me that makes you mad?
Is what I think in my mind really that bad?
Should I not have an opinion, my own way to feel
Or should I be like everyone else and not myself?
Well that's too bad, you can't change that
I am who I am, what's so wrong with that
You're afraid of people like me because we're not afraid
To do what we have to do to get our points across
You punish me for everything wrong, but im never rewarded for the rights that I've done
I work so hard to no avail
So I shut my mouth and kept to myself
Im not here to please you, im not your puppet on a string
Im just like you, another human being
I get mad, I get angry and I question a lot of things
But that doesn't make me a bad person
That doesn't make me insane
If expressing myself makes my crazy then condemn every person around the world
Im not the only person to feel this

Christopher laughed, shaking his head.
"Now, now love, I'd not go that far."
He strode over to the piano as the other guests urged him on. Ida entered the room bearing a merrily steaming teapot and more crumpets.
"More tea sirs?" she inquired, shooting sideways glances at her
